Butterflies - Frederick Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids

Every year in the spring, Frederick Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids has a butterfly exhibit.  I haven't been since 2019 but have plans to go in a few weeks.  This is a butterfly that looks completely different with its wings open.  When they open they are a beautiful shade of blue.  When they are closed, as this picture, they blend in really well with their background.  They are called a blue morpho and live in South America.  Apparently they only live 115 days.  I don't really know much more than that.  However the butterfly exhibit to me means Spring! And we are patiently waiting for the flowers to come up and the temperatures to stay warmer.  Hope you see butterflies during your spring and summer wherever you are.
